What is the Diovan and Diovan HCT Co-Pay Card Program?

If you are eligible, you may pay as little as $10 out of pocket for your prescription by using the Diovan and Diovan HCT Co-Pay Card.

You can register and activate your co-pay card and present it along with a valid prescription for your medication at any participating pharmacy.

Reimbursement limited to $75 for a 30-tablet prescription. If you are eligible, you pay $10 towards your co-pay, and Novartis will pay the next $75 of your co-pay for a 30-tablet prescription. Patients are then responsible for any additional remaining co-pay costs for that 30-tablet prescription. For example: If your co-pay for Diovan or Diovan HCT is $90, you pay the initial $10, Novartis will then pay $75, and you will be responsible for the remaining co-pay balance of $5.

Novartis reserves the right to rescind, revoke, or amend the program without notice.

Why has the Novartis co-pay card changed?

From time to time, we review our co-pay support levels and adjust them based on market assessments.

Why are there other co-pay offers of $0 in the marketplace?

While pharmaceutical manufacturers may have $0 co-pay offers, a wide range of manufacturers provide co-pay offers in the range of $10 or higher.

What if I canít afford anything more than Iím currently paying?

We appreciate your concern. Patient Assistance Now may be able to assist you or your loved one if eligible. For additional information, you or your loved one may call toll free at 1-800-245-5356. When calling, please explain that you or your loved one are currently interested in understanding whether you qualify for support.

What is the expiration date?

The $10 co-pay card offer is valid through December 2017. Please note that after one year of use, you will be required to re-attest to the terms and conditions at www.Diovan.com.

For example, if you register your card in August 2016, you will have to re-attest to the terms and conditions in August 2017, in order to continue to use the card through December 2017.

I have an older Diovan and Diovan HCT Co-Pay Card; can I still use it?

Co-pay cards with an expiration date of 2016 or earlier will be valid through December 2016.

All offers with an expiration date of 2016 or earlier will NOT be valid as of January 1, 2017. To continue saving, you will need to get a new $10 co-pay card here.

Is everyone eligible for the Diovan and Diovan HCT Co-Pay Card?

This offer is valid only for those with commercial insurance.

This offer is not valid for:

  • Cash-paying patients
  • Patients using Medicare, Medicaid, or any other federal or state program
  • Residents of Massachusetts
  • Patients whose plan reimburses them for the entire cost of their prescription drug

This offer is not valid where prohibited by law. This offer is valid only in the United States and Puerto Rico.

Are there any other program disclaimers I should be aware of?

This program is not health insurance. This offer may not be combined with any other rebate, coupon, or offer. Novartis reserves the right to rescind, revoke, or amend the program without notice. The patient certifies responsibility for complying with applicable limitations, if any, of any commercial insurance and reporting receipt of program rewards, if necessary, to any commercial insurer. This offer expires on December 31, 2017.

I filled my prescription at the pharmacy, but forgot to present my Diovan and Diovan HCT Co-Pay Card. Can I be reimbursed?

In order to be reimbursed for a past prescription, you need to use the reimbursement form. Please remember to save your pharmacy receipt, as this will be needed to receive a refund. The form includes instructions on where to send the completed information.
